Welcome. I am Mark Field, Professor of Cell Biology and Parasitology. I was born in London, and have the questionable honour of being a true Cockney. Educated at Corpus Christi College Oxford, I have studied and taught in New York, San Francisco, London, Cambridge and Scotland. I spend part of each year in New York and collect Gibson, Fender and Paul Read Smith guitars, amongst others.
